I love to make my entryway inviting. What better way to say that than ‘hello’. The elements of this sign go beautifully with the monochromatic scheme in my house but adds a little femininity with the beautiful pastel flowers.
Hello, You Are Welcome Here.
I took a 38cm mdf round from the craft shop and section a third of it off.
I then stained the top half using walnut stain (did you know you can stain mdf and it turns out beautifully!).
I then painted the bottom half with white paint (I used what I had lying around the house). I first sectioned of the last 1/3 that I was going to paint.
My white paint line wasn’t very crisp so I used white ribbon to cover the line.
I painted the word ‘hello’ in black craft paint. I got this from a craft shop. I did this with a small paint brush but next time I would use spray paint as there were a lot of little grooves to get into.
I already had the flowers from a previous wreath I had made last year. These were attached together using jute and a hot glue gun.
I placed everything where I wanted and attached it together with a hot glue gun.
I love how it turned out, perfect fit for my welcoming entryway.
