My 1st chalkboard project ~ I wanted to make something for my niece Ella she’s growing up and soon will be transitioning from her baby to her big girl room, I wanted to make something that will grow with her ~
Frames are so expensive, so I like to pick up bad art in nice frames whenever I can. I found this at Goodwill for $5 ~ I swapped out the “art” with a piece of sheet metal that I painted with chalkboard paint & seasoned before framing ~
My supplies ~
I love how the metallic spray paint totally glammed up the fridge letters!
Attached magnets to the back of a Scrabble tray to hold chalk ~
Pleased with how this all came together…so pleased I’m already planning on making another maybe this time I’ll keep it for myself!
