Ones Trash Can Be My Treasure! [Salvaged Picture Turned Chalk Board]

This is 1 of 2 pictures that was put as TRASH! I saw the potential in the items! [With glass]
First give a good cleaning, dry, then use prime spray paint [Valspar] is what I had on hand. You can use any brand for priming.
After it's dry use Rustolium chalk board paint, then let dry. For better results spray chalk paint a total of 3 times after drying.
I placed on the wall where I am building a beverage bar/coffee station. For better results I found some great chalk pens at my local craft store. It goes on smooth and wipes off with water and cloth. What a statement! A can of chalk paint and primer.

Do you spray the picture or the glass with the chalkboard paint?

Awesome!!!! I started this, then lost the tutorial I was using at the time, so I wasn't sure if I was spraying the glass or not, and most of the other tutorials put a piece of wood in the frame rather than use the glass...so thanks for posting!
