Pallet Wood Fish Bait Sign Diy

I don't know why, but lately I've been on a painted sign fixation. And if you want to make a vintage style sign you can't beat free wood. Of course I'm talking about pallet wood. It has that aged, rough, beat up quality already built in.
The best thing about the signs I make, is that you don't need any special tools to make one yourself. Well, you do need a computer and printer, but other than that...oh, and paint, a paint brush and a pencil...but hopefully you have all that just sitting around the house.

For inspiration, I head to the computer. I know I want to do a fish sign, so I just Google fish sign. Kind of easy right? That's where I came up with the above two fish bait signs. Love them!
Sand the pallet wood down until you have a smooth area in which to paint.
To attach the boards together use cross braces, screwed or nailed onto the back.
Fish design was transferred and then painted as well as the BAIT lettering.
Need to see more painting, pallet and transfer tips, I hope you'll stop by to see the complete finished sign and more pallet wood projects.
