Pool Rack Upgrade

Hi all! I recently bought this basic pool cue rack from Amazon.
The problem was, when I installed it I was left looking at this...
And I had nowhere to put all that little blue chalk that is always lying around. So, some friends and I participated in a challenge where we had to transform these little vases.
I decided this little vase would be perfect to hold chalk, so I jazzed it up a little to go with our industrial decor. I started by sanding the vase and putting on a mixture of wood glue and wood filler to give it some texture.
Once dry, I spray painted and added our monogram and hung it up. Perfect size for the chalk!
Then I covered the anchor screws using a scrap board and a image I made on PicMonkey.
Oh and a little ModPodge...
After trimming off the excess, I just used a couple of command strips to attach to wall and viola!
Stop by the blog for more details and to see how my friends transformed their vases!
Thanks for stopping by!
