Can I paste new wallpaper on top of clean, old wallpaper?
It is so much additional work to remove the old wallpaper. Any suggestions or advice?

Wallpaper is a tricky one Barbara. I don't recommend hanging paper over paper, but if really just want to, the first thing you have to know is how well was the previous paper hung. If it's loose in any areas that will need repaired first. If all of that is ok, then you can proceed. I have done it in small areas, but never on a full project.

Use the scoring tool and then steam. It should peel right off, a putty knife will help and protect your fingers.
I have also used a combo of fabric softener and water in a spray bottle. That was just one layer though.
Steam should give you the best results.
