Stencils ar the “go-to” product today to refresher any wall.
A couple of extra-strength Command hooks and a length of pvc or curtain rod will let you hang a fun rug, tapestry, or even beautiful antique tablecloth on the tile.
We used small black cable zip ties, carefully fed thru an antique rug. To hang it. Or you can sew on a “rod pocket” to feed your rod through.
if you want more flexibility, make a picture rail. Again, you can use heavy-duty Command hooks, or drill your supports thru the tile. Have fun with this!

I love what Jcraw said.
Also you could hang a curtain and swag it like a window. If you don’t have a head board this could be your head board focal point.
Command hooks and wall hanging plant holders would add some nature back too.
Suction cups, really good ones work to hold things as well.
I bet the wood tile and some
plants would look awesome! Even if they were faux plants it would spruce it up.
