I used primed ship lap from Home Depot in my kitchen on a wall and as a backsplash. Arauco is the brand name. It comes in different lengths and is very easy to install as each board overlaps the first and you don't need to worry about the wall showing through. Once you make sure your first board is level you are good to go. You can nail it up with a nail gun, fill the nail holes with wood filler, sand the holes and paint. Technically, it is not the traditional style ship lap because if you were going to install the traditional way you would be using individual boards and a spacer in between and your wall would be peeking out between the boards. This primed ship lap gives you the look of ship lap without as much work. I like it very much! I even used it on my ceiling in the bathroom
