love it! wall paper is definitely making a come back! I would just make sure yo choose one that has a protective coat from grease, etc. that will splash up
Glue the wallpaper behind glass or plexi, then attach to wall. Makes for easier clean up and happier home buyers when you sell.
When you have so many options for backsplashes, I wouldn't choose something I am going to have to replace so quickly.
Depending on what your budget is and how large your backsplash is, purchasing custom cut plexiglass pieces with a honed edge top, (necessary to prevent fingers from becoming sliced on the cut raw edge) will not be inexpensive.
