This DIY is by far one of the cheapest DIY's on the market. You can get all of the supplies for this DIY shelf at the dollar store. I wrote it as under $1 because you will probably already have all the supplies at home. If you need to pick anything up, you will have the majority of the supplies left over to use for further DIY's as it does not require much to make.
Grab 6 popsicle sticks and lay them out in a hexagon. Hot glue them one on top of the other. Each popsicle stick should be under 1 popsicle stick and on top of another.
Soon you will have your first few layers. You will start to see the shape of the shelf.
Keep doing the same process until you get the desired depth of your shelf.
Your shelf should look something like this. Pull off the access glue to clean it up.
Pick your paint and coat the top level. You could paint the whole shelf, but personally I like the effect of painting just the outside layer. It gives the shelf a pop of color that's perfect for summer.
Hang up your shelf anyway you'd like. I used a nail. The shelf is so light that 1 nail will hold it's weight, that is unless you want to put items on the shelf. If that's the case, I would advise using something that's sturdier.
Finally, I added some flowers from the dollar store for decoration. Hope you enjoyed the tutorial! Checkout the other ones on my page if you want more ideas!
