Hi fellow Hometalkers!

Using a wall stencil is an affordable way to add dimension and interest to your space. Take a look at how I did this great feature wall in our bedroom using a stencil that created a beautiful lace-like pattern.

Measure your wall

Measure your wall that you’d like to stencil. I place my stencil in the exact middle and work my way down and out. To move on to the next row, you simply line up the pattern’s edge and secure in place. I always use painter’s tape to secure in place.

Carefully load the paint

When loading paint onto the roller, make sure that you do it sparingly. I use a piece of cardboard to offload some paint on there to make sure it’s evenly distributed on the roller.

It’s looking good
