Old light fixtures make the best projects! Take a look at what you can make from a $1 lighting find! Sometimes you just have to look beyond the junk and imagine the possibilities.

This pile of one dollar antique lamp parts provided me all the materials I needed to create this one of a kind candle holder.
What began as that pile of broken and disassembled vintage lighting pieces actually became 3 awesome repurposed projects.

Today I am going to show you one of them but you can visit Homeroad.net to see the rest!

I re-assembled a few of the pieces then attached them to a board for spray painting. I am using the HomeRight Small Spray Shelter to keep the spray where I want it. Visit my post for more details on this part of the project.
The finished piece was attached to an old door in my house, the arm swings wide to change the position of the candle. You could hang it on a wall or even outdoors for an interesting and unique lighting source.

Beautiful and thank you for the idea of using an old tent as a paint booth!
