Brrrr there is beginning to be a chill in the air. For a I whipped up a 'Fall' sign to adorn my front porch.
I started with 2 of those cheap cedar fence pickets from Home Depot, and cut them to size.
I saw a really cute fall/halloween craft on pinterest that uses orange, aqua and white as it's colors. The craft is fun and fresh, so I thought I'd use a similar color scheme. Leaving the boards rough, I started of painting the 2 main planks orange.
After the orange dried completely, I lightly painted the planks with aqua.

I cut out the pieces to make up letters for F L L and for fun stained them different colors. Lay out the letters, decide where the maple leaf should be placed and trace the leaf onto the planks.
See the blog post below for the rest of the story and cut dimensions.
