DIY Washi Tape Organizer

I know I am not the only one whose mind turns to organizing at the beginning of each new year. I think it has to do with all the clutter of the holiday decorations and putting them away. We have a new slate to start with and want it to be more organized and want our "stuff" to be more accessable.
I have growing collection of washi tape that is scattered throughout my work area and needed to get it under control so I could actually know what I had and then use it on my projects. So the DIY Washi Tape organizer came to be.
You will need two things only - a wooden dowel rod and a wooden medallion - these are found in most hardware and hobby stores.
Simply drill a hole in the center of the medallion (hubby does that power tool stuff for me).
Stick the dowel rod in the hole and wallah you have a holder.
Add your washi tape, baker's twine, ribbon spools, string, or whatever you choose and you have a wonderful vertical storage that takes up very little space. Such a simple solution I don't know why I didn't think of it before now. For more details please see the blog post below.

I use paper towel holder to hold my duc tape addiction. I can pull my tape and cut it not having to remove 10 rolls to get to the one I want.
