Hall tree for just over 50 bucks. Made mostly from reclaimed items. This may take a short time to find all the items needed at a good price but it was worth it.

Solid wooden tv stand. This one had a drawer and wheels. This was 15 dollars.

Spray paint the wood to seal the varnish. Let dry overnight. Spay paint was 3 dollars.

Wooden shutters. Paint all the pieces with a high gloss black paint. Let dry overnight. Shutters were 5 dollars each. High gloss paint 5 dollars.

Use the wooded shutters on both sides. Also placed a metal desk organizer on the side. Desk organizer was 8 dollars.

Place a piece thin wood on the back and top. Used a piece of crown molding for the top front. All painted with the high gloss black paint. Used colorful hooks on the back. Thin board was 9 dollars. Hooks was 3 each.

Placed shoes, coats, hats, and mail just inside the door on the HALL TREE.

If the structure is not already firmly attached to the back wall, I would advise you do so immediately. If it were to fall forward, someone could easily get injured, and those pretty antique dishes may get smashed as well, simply due to the weight impact on the floor.

Thank you for visiting my project. I don't have it secured to the wall. It was made with an old TV cart on wheels as the bottom. It is very stable as it was meant to hold the old box TV's from the 80's. I guess if you had kids around you could secure it to the wall but I only have adults at this time. Again thank you for bringing ip a safety issue for others that make this project to consider if needed. God bless and be safe.
