DIY Industrial Coat Rack

Beneath My Heart
by Beneath My Heart
With the holidays approaching, I am getting my house ready for guests. I have always wanted to create a space by our front door for our guests to hang their coats and belongings.
So I decided to make an industrial coat rack with a shelf!
I used 3/4 inch black pipes from Lowe's, and a 2x12 piece of wood.
Because the black pipes and fittings are not uniform in color, I gave them all a quick coat of Rustoleum black spray paint in flat.
It is very important to make sure your pipes are level before installing the shelf.
After the shelf was attached, I applied one coat of MinWax stain in Dark Walnut.
Now I have a great space to hang coats.

Bring on the holidays!! :)
