Reclaimed wood fencing made into super easy shelving with hooks to hang all those sweat shirts, here we go...
Start with reclaimed wood fencing. In this case it came from my mother-in-laws, she was replacing the old with new, to my benefit. Cut the boards to preferred length.
I Purchased coat hooks from Amazon, like the look, simple and clean.
Add a drill and wood screws and that’s all you’ll need, I used drywall screws, well, because I had them, worked just as well.
Hold one piece on top of the other. May need a helping hand to keep steady.
Screw the two pieces together spacing the screws evenly along the top.
Next screw the hooks to the face
of the board. I chose 5 hooks hanging the first one in the center then evenly spacing the others on either side.
Hung the shelf by drilling right into the studs with drywall screws.
And there you go.. dual purpose
Great place for all my sons sweat shirts and trophies and nothing on the floor!
Nothing goes to waste. Love the shelving now need to go make some more.
