DIY Foyer Bench and Storage

This closet needed a big change -- the doors, when fully opened, only ever exposed half of the closet. It made it hard to organize/see/know what was in there. They were also heavy, screechy, and NOT toddler friendly, not to mention -- outdated.

Okay, I have to be the one to ask. What does it look like when everyone's coats are hanging up? And where to the shoes and boots go? Because if the answer is good, I am SO doing this in my tiny entranceway.

Well, it's a nice concept but not for the front door closet. Maybe somewhere else in the house it would work.

I think it's a perfect solution for your family's needs. Who cares if it suits anyone else or not? It's your house and that's all that counts. I like what you did. Very pretty and functional.
