Entryway Makeover

We wanted to add something to our entryway to bring it to life. We were debating between horizontal and vertical shiplap, we decided on vertical Shiplap since we haven’t done that before. So we went up 6 ft with vertical Shiplap. Plus, I did a poll on Instagram and that’s what won! prefinished shiplap from Lowes comes in 12 foot long pieces, so if we did 6 foot high, then we would have no leftovers! My husband used a level to get the pieces perfectly level. We used wood glue on the back of the boards and then used a nail gun a couple times on each board to hold it up. We used a 1x3 to trim off the top. Then I went to hobby lobby and found this cute entryway table, round mirror gold mirror, gray beads and faux plant. Once my husband put up the Shipla, I used putty to fill in the holes. I then sanded it with a sanding block. We painted the shiplap the color of our baseboard. I’m obsessed with how it turned out.
