Have any space saving purse storage ideas?
I have an older home with small bifold closet doors. Is there any organization ideas for purses, even if it's in the laundry room or garage?

Laundry room has too much humidity. Garage, unless completely finished (heated and cooled), has too much temperature fluctuation. If you have leather goods, they will deteriorate at a faster rate. Go with under bed boxes or find someplace else in the house to store them.
I keep mine in another bedroom closet. I have them lined up on the shelf, each in a dust bag.
You could keep them in a clear tote in the bottom of your closet, or on a shelf in any closet.
You could use removable shower curtain rings or giant binder rings to hang the purses on hangers, or on a rod under a shelf. Putting smaller purses inside the larger ones helps reduce the number of purses you need to store. I have a large lidded basket for my purse stash, and a box under the bed, and some hanging in the closet, one on the piano.....
