I have a console table that I enjoy decorating for the holidays and seasons. I find that by switching out just a few items throughout the year, I can easily update the table to reflect the time of year. Decorating the console table is a lot of fun!
The table is an unfinished table that I painted with chalk paint and stained myself. The above photo shows how the table looked the very first time I decorated it.
This is my fall console table. It's really amazing how the look of a console table can be altered so much with only a few decorative items.
This is how the console table was decorated for winter and Christmas. I loved the cool, winter look.
I recently decorated the table for the Chinese New Year. I added some Chinese paper fans, some floating orchid candles, and some red money envelopes, which are typically given as gifts to celebrate the New Year.
This is another look at my Chinese New Year console table. The battery-operated Chinese-lantern string lights are a lot of fun! In the tabletop red lanterns I have wax battery-operated LED candles.
I recently decorated the console table for Valentine's Day. I simply swapped out some of the Chinese New Year decorations and add some faux potted greenery and some heart ornaments that have been given to me by my husband -- he gives me at least one new heart ornament every year.
Ground Hog Day (February 2) marks the halfway point for winter -- winter is half over! I am really looking forward to the spring, so the faux greenery is especially fitting. I am looking forward to decorating the table for spring and Easter!
