West Elm Inspired HomeGoods Table Makeover

West Elm is one of my favorite home decor stores, but their prices are not always in my budget. So, when I fell in love with their bin pull console table I knew I wanted to create my own for a fraction of the price.
I kept my eye out for a table that was similar and could be altered to resemble the $1049 bin pull table. I hit the jackpot when I found a table at HomeGoods for $199.00!
I started by removing the hardware then I sanded and stained the table with my favorite Jacobean Minwax stain.
I then added brass corner brackets that I spray painted with ORB spray paint.
After I had the table stained and the corner brackets added it was time to create custom bin pulls to resemble the West Elm table. I used sheet metal that I cut, sanded and spray painted with ORB spray paint to recreate my own custom pulls.
I could not be happier with this table makeover and the fact that it cost a fraction of the West Elm table is a total win in my book.
