Ceiling Rose

So we've been living in our house for just over a year now. I started to look around for light fixtures.

Something was bothering me I noticed something was missing around the light fixture in the living room. I realised there must of been A ceiling rose there. I love ceiling roses so I went straight to my laptop to find one. It didn't take long to find one I liked on ebay.

I made my first ceiling rose purchase and when it arrived it did not disappoint.

I could see there was something missing around the light fixture.

I didn't want to just put a light up with the ceiling looking like this.

I search on eBay and found this ceiling rose for less then £20 bargain! They have so many designs to choose from.

I bought some hard as nails glue from poundland, so easy! I put a few blobs here and there held it in place around the light fixture for less then a minute while the adhesive worked and that's it.

Once I finished I added my new light from the range.

And this is the end result. Everyone has commented on our ceiling rose. It bring character to the house and we haven't got the strange circle mark around the light fixture anymore.

Anyone can do this. Some glue a ceiling rose and step ladder is all you need.
