For the last two months, we have been renovating our downstairs and installing this beautiful herrinbone ceramic hardwoods with a faux handscraped finish. We took on a HUGE challenge with this project because it's nearly 1200 square feet of tiling. We had high hopes to finish within a month but the flooring demo took WAY longer than expected and exhausted us from the very beginning. It's been a long journey but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and we couldn't be prouder of our floors. As you can see, we still have to finish tiling, grout, and remove the haze from grouting. A lot of people were asking for a flooring update so I make a quick little tour to show you were we are. Basically, we would do this again but we would do things a lot differently.

This was the smallest room in the house and the first one we completed. The laundry room was necessary because we went a few weeks with having to move the washing machine to and from the room until the tiling and grouting was complete.
This is our living room. We still have to grout here and place baseboards.

I feel your pain! took one week just to do our bedroom. we used hardwood. I don't envy all of the grouting you have in front of you!
