A solution to a cheap way to cover a 12 x 32 foot ceiling

I have been building my own cabin and I put an addition on it a few years back ... but getting tired of looking up at insulation. Need a cheap way to cover it. Sheets of something are out of the question because I live by myself ... I'm 57 ... so age and being female are not in my favor as I don't have the strength to hold a sheet of "anything" above my head. My rafters are spaced 24 inches apart. The room is 12 x 32 feet. Thanks in advance for any help!!

You can try fabric like flat bed sheets. Staple one side to the edge rafter and then stretch and staple rafter by rafter and sheet by sheet until you finish the room. You could also use smaller pieces of fabric and make it "patchwork". If you use the patchwork idea, you might be able to handle thin prefinished pieces of chipboard.

How about tongue and groove boards. They go up one at a time.
