How to decide what type of flooring to use in temperate rain forest?

We live in S E Alaska where it rains alot and is always humid. Whats the best floor material to use

Tile is an option. Also check out vinyl squares of sheets or planks.
Sgu333, I would stick with stone or tile. Vinyl may work, depending on the amount of humidity and the solubility of the glue used to put it down. I would stay away from anything wood, as it will soak up water continually and not last very long unless you can get bamboo or teak. Good luck.
