I painted a 8ftx8ft rubber mat for my living floor in black and white house paint .I created a large dirty poor mural and It was water base. It has been wonderful!! I can just mop it and it looks great!,but i see it's starting to peel in places. What would be the best thing to do?

Did you apply a sealer? When I do a dirty pour I like to use a high gloss varnish on top (Saman makes a great water based product designed for floors)

don't do 'thick'... but multiple coats after each one dries .. but on the rubber? mat, the flexing of the surface may always be a cause for cracking of the paint/sealer -- these are not made to be used on a flexible surface ...
