How can I fix ( as best as possible ) cigarette burns on your carpet

    This is where Savin the scraps of carpet from the installation of the carpet come in handy. You will need to cut out the damages area, replace it with a plug from the scraps of carpet you saved. A little glu to hold in place.....you should be good.

    Cut down burnt pile - Glue in wool top of old carpet. Or Insurance Claim.......

    You can take a corner of the carpet that will not show, and cut it out. Next you need to use a razor to cut the fibers off the base of the carpet.Use some glue and drip it lightly onto the burn marks, and then drop the fibers onto the glue

    If you have any lighter colored carpet to patch your hole you can paint carpet with acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium to match your color.

    If you have a left over piece you will need to cut that burned area out and patch it In and they sell carpet glue or depending on the location of the burn use a piece from a closet so it can’t be seen, where it was taken from, your last resort is add a area rug to complement that room🍁

    That's exactly what I did. Took fibers from the edge of matching carpet. Used a clear strong glue & dabbed glue in the burn spot & put the fibers in. Withstood vacuuming & shampooing very well. Good luck!

    if you pull off the baseboard a bit of space, say in a closet in case you damage it. you will find a place to cut the carpet for a perfect match for the holes. cut and glue, super or gorilla glue work best.
