How can i fix terrazzo floors?
I removed the carpet and found terrazzo flooring. The floors have paint ( when they painted the walls) and holes from carpet strips. Can I fix this myself?

While I don't have a specific answer for you, I would approach this by doing lots of research and consult with flooring folks to see if it's a DIY. What a cool find!
Hi Jessica, with some manual labor it looks totally possible! I'm a little jealous what an awesome find! Hope this helps: https://www.hunker.com/12002421/how-to-patch-terrazzo
Hello
, Scrape the paint off or use a chemical paint remover. Fill the holes with Spackle and colour in to match tile using a sharpie or acrylic art paint.
You can use an epoxy resin to fill the holes. As for the paint, I've read that Goo Gone works.
I think the paint could be scraped. I would purchase a plastic/teflon scraper so it won't scratch the tile. Then using the link above provided by GrandmasHouseDIY, patch the areas. Then clean up and enjoy. If you can't get it perfect, some strategically placed furnishings and rugs may be able to hide any imperfections you aren't happy with.
I would try Goo Gone for the paint drips on your flooring.
Hopefully you can get some ideas from this where someone else had a problem with their terrazzo flooring also:

It sounds as if you have spatters from the walls being painted, I would try to remove the paint with a plastic scraper, such as a store card or an plastic card.

You should be able to handle this yourself!
Terrazzo is a floor surface consisting of decorative stone chips, commonly marble, suspended in a concrete or epoxy mix. ... This damage is repairable, using a patch created of the same decorative stone mixed with an epoxy resin colored to match the floor surface.
Do not use any harsh cleaners on terrazzo, you will ruin the floor. Use rubbing alcohol to get the paint softened and then use a plastic scraper. The holes are repairable, as Chloe said above.
I have terrazzo floors and after you get them clean they are easy to keep.
