How do I get rid of a bad scratch mark on my hardwood floor?
I have a bad scratch mark on my hardwood floor, which I cannot seem to get to go away no matter what I try. I know there is something to erase it, but I do not know what it is.

A picture would be helpful so we could see how bad the scratch is.
Try rubbing the meat of an open walnut onto the scratch. If it's not too deep, that should do the trick.
For a deep scratch you can use a Minwax Blend Fil pencil. Available in all stain colors

You can't really erase a scratch but you can make it less noticeable by the walnut method Kathy mentioned. Depending on the color of your floor, you may want to invest in a furniture wax pencil. They're available in different shades to match specific woods.
There are all sorts of repair pens out there. Check in your local home improvement store for ne that matches the color of your floor.
Could try a white eraser or if deep try using a crayon in the same colour as floor.

I would try a magic eraser, the scratch will still be there, but not as noticeable.
Try wood filler for a deep scratch.

Is it a surface type scratch or into the wood? The latter is harder to fix seamlessly. The former you can try those wax repair pencils.
Did you try steaming it out with a damp cloth and an iron? If its too deep, then you might have to use one of those hard wax crayons in the appropriate color to disguise it using a hot tool..... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JZEY20Q3Hdg Seems like they have a new type of heating tool..... https://www.amazon.com/Usefully-Sandable-Furniture-Laminate-Hardwood/dp/B09YNVWCB8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3GYK8L7EA5XTL&keywords=hardwood+repair+kit+wax+and+heat+tool&qid=1660889795&sprefix=hardwood+repair+kit+wax+and+heat+tool%2Caps%2C472&sr=8-5
