How do I install a transition made with pebbles?

I know you can buy rocks, pebbles, etc at Home Depot and other home improvement stores that come in sheets and you cut it to size. It is laid just like any tile type threshold.

Hello. Have you considered using a tile that looks like pebbles? That may be an easier application because the little stones are mounted on a mesh which would make placement a bit easier and the height of the pebbles would be more uniform.

Something to think about.

I’ve seen where someone glued pebbles onto a boot tray and then filled with grout and sealed. That might work but I agree with the previous post to see if you can find tile that has the appearance you want. Then it will be rated for floors.

The projects that I've seen like this are treated like tile. Lay down a layer of thinset, set pebbles in the thinset, then after thinset has dried, grout and seal.

You best bet would be to go with pebble tile. The laminate floor will move as the subfloor will also with temp changes. Poured concrete or thinset can crack and pop out

There are mosaic tiles that come in sheets made of pebbles or you can spread some tile mortar in the gap then inset the stones.
