How do I refinish hardwood floors in a 100 year old house?
I have a house made in the 1920s. It has hardwood floors throughout the entire second floor and in the foyer. In some areas, it looks dirty, almost black. How do i remove these without damaging or scratching the wood?

You will probably need to rent a sander to refinish the floors.
You need to call in the pros as you don't want to damage the floors. They need to be sanded down, stained if you wish, or left natural and sealed.
