i did my bath tub. sand off the peeling stuff or strip it. wipe clean to remove any dust. i used auto spray paint, for color, then clear coat. be sure to have a window open and a fan is a good idea also.
We had a similar problem. Our guest bath shower floor is concrete with cinder block walls. It has always been painted and we know this because of the many colors that were on the peeling floor area. What we did was scrape up the old loose paint as well as possible and gave it a fresh coat of white. Then we built a teak wood (you can also use bamboo) floor mat that covered the shower floor area. There are lots of how-to’s online. We found ours on Pinterest. I’m sure it won’t last forever but we thought of it as an inexpensive and very pretty answer to our problem. Hope this helps!
