Why they above "floor level"? Is it the trip hazard that concerns you ? If so, you can , and probably should , purchase transition strip to go along the edge of the room if that's where the boards exist .
If the boards are in the middle of the room , you must identify why they buckled and aren't uniform with the rest before you can worry about leveling the floor .
