Rug pad! Spend the money for the better quality one. The rubberized ones can sometimes stick to the floor and it is a mess to get off the hardwood. Here is a link.https://www.rugpadusa.com/products/contour-lock?gclid=CjwKCAjwj8bPBRBiEiwASlFLFbKX4duB88tuSPG-4KrjLGJSEF3q-CtWZV6Fbnr9Mr19YvpZoYdsmxoCJ1UQAvD_BwEHelpful Reply -

Buy non-skid carpet pad, it's sold anywhere area rugs are sold. I've seen it in Home Depot, Lowe's, BB&B, Target. There is the thin kind that is just non-skid waffle-weave material, and the thicker kind which provides some cushioning under carpet. Just check the packaging or online information to make sure it says safe for hardwood floors.Helpful Reply -

Ellis, advice is correct, and as she said, make sure what you put down doesn't ruin your floor.Helpful Reply -

I had the same problem on carpet and on ceramic tile. I tried everything and nothing worked well. Then I went to Walmart and bought a small square container of sticky carpet "stuff". OMG! Now neither rugs move at all. It works great and you find it where Walmart sells their larger area rugs.Helpful Reply -
