We just pulled up carpet and the padding has many bits of it stuck to the wood floor. How can we safely remove it?

Hi Judy, I did a bit of research on this topic and was surprised to learn that some people used a garden hoe to get that pad up. I guess that makes the job a bit easier because you can work standing up. Other people used ice scrapers for this job. Unfortunately, you would have to work on your hands and knees for this method. Who knew? Also, I learned that magnets will help to get the staples up. I hope this helps you.
Have you tried warming it with a hair dryer?
Here you go - buy one of these floor scrapers, they work great!
Try using à heat gun and a plastic putty knife to scrape it up. Be careful you don't want to ruin your hardwood floors.
