First off, be sure you have other tiles to replace the one you want to remove. . or this will end up in a whole diff. job. Then, you can use a knife made for this, usually called a carpenters knife, That has a curved blade on it, to help you cut this area, and you can clean this area up, real good, before you put a new one down. The tiles do not have to match to make it interesting but, do need to be the same size.
