I need to do my floors. I'd like to do hardwood- any advice?

Pergo has been payed on top of vinyl that is glued to hardwood.
I want to get to the hardwood if T all possible.

Hi, contact the Girl or Boy Scouts or local places of worship in your area and see if they can help with your remodeling needs. I doubt the hardwood is any good, so if the Pergo is in need of repair perhaps one of these organizations can assist. Good luck to you.
