WITHOUT removing existing tile. Is that possible and if so how would I do it?

We plan on doing this soon in our front hall and downstairs bathroom. You can buy an overlay laminate flooring that goes right over, it's called floating flooring, here are some links to check out:

You can paint ceramic tile, and stenciling is very popular and attractive. You can tile over it if you repair any damaged areas. You could tile over it with a floating floor like LVP = Luxury Vinyl Planks. Good luck!
