If you don"t have a wet saw, what is the best way to cut ceramic tile?

putting ceramic tile in my front entry. IT is 12"x 24". two tiles hooked together.
So,e cuts need to be made ti fit around the base of the stairs. Don't want to crack them. Any pointers. Entryway joins into hallway which is done in wooden flooring and goes throughout the whole downstairs. Have all grout and leveling tools needed. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Rent a wet saw. Not expensive. Sawing ceramic tiles creates heat and you don't want them to crack because of this. Lay all tiles, then rent the wet saw for a day. Cut and lay all those tiles.

You can get a tile hand saw. Good luck.

There’s some portable tools made now that can cut tile easily with different blades for different materials you need to cut. I would consider looking at those tools, their advertised on TV from time to time and you can find them on YouTube too!
