If they are true hardwood and have no finish on them, try bowling alley wax and use a floor buffer.

Be very careful not to use mop & shine type products. Did this with my hardwood floors. Looked great for a short time and then it left a dull finish that I could not remove. Suggest asking the manufacturer or installer.

I used Johnson's paste floor wax on my oak floors years ago. If they are not sealed you can seal them with a clear floor sealer or sealer plus stain such as Varathane or Minwax.

Have maple hard wood. When I refinish, I get it done professionally with an oil-based semi-goss varathane or urethane type finish. Easy to maintain. Damp mop. If the finish gets duller over time, just add a very small amount of vinegar to the wash water. Dark floor are "in", but natural are timeless.
