Can an end grain wood floor be done on concrete?

Could this be done on a concrete slab or would the moisture be an issue?

Not sure, just know if concrete is sealed painting on it usually peels.
If you have no moisture/water problem. Glued down wood flooring moisture would not be a problem. Hardwood flooring is glued down on concrete basement floors where nailing is impossible. Even laminate flooring is glued down when it's not a floating floor.
