My brother did this lady summer. Just make a frame using 2×s and then of course add your wood onto of that. Then at door opening made a ramp type outside to bring your mowers or whatever in out easily.

What is there now? Does it have to be removed? Are there joists there? More information would be helpful.

Thank you for reply, I made a concrete blocks what I wanted to do is put plastic down first then put the plywood on the lips of the side of the shed and then screw the plywood down to the blocks this way it holds on the edges as well?

Is it on a slab or just footings. If it is on a slab you will need to put down a vapor barrier (sheet of plastic) then attach 1 x 4 wood slats flat to the floor space. Make a frame around the edge and then put runners across floor. Make sure you have enough to support the plywood without it bowing.

If it is on footings with a gravel floor you will need to make sure the gravel is level and tamped down. Then put down a vapor barrier and the same basic wooden form as for the cement slab.

I would use at least 1/2 marine plywood although 5/8 would be better. Is expensive but will last longer against the moisture from the ground and whatever you tromp in there.

You don't have to have tongue and groove but that does keep your edges together better and makes your floor more stable. Again more expensive but if your going to do the job and use the shed it will last longer in the long run.

Good luck and happy building :)

Ohh, forgot to mention make the frame and flooring 1st then remove the shed floor and with alot of man power you all walk the shed onto the new floor. We had 5 or 6 of us helping to pick up shed and put on flooring, as if you just built the floor on existing floor it would be raised up. Hope this helped.

Thank you for replying, I made a concrete floor using blocks, so I can screw the plywood down to the blocks. My question should of more been on the line if I can still add plastic liner under plywood now ?
