How to use Vaseline for wood floor?

What is your question? I've never heard of using vaseline on a wood floor. Sounds dangerous, slippery and would attract dirt. Try cleaning and putting a coat of Polyurethane for shine. -

If vaseline is on your wood floor you need to get it up. It is not made for wood flooring and it could create a slipping hazard. Use a mild soap solution such as Dawn. -

It would attract a lot of dirt and be a slipping hazard.
