Hi Marcia, any type of tile would be easily to clean etc. Or a laminate as well is also easy to clean and maintain.
This is such a personal choice. The best flooring is the one that makes you happy. Many people love ceramic and others hate it. I'm a fan of roll vinyl because you have no cracks that seem to always widen over time in vinyl tile. Whatever you choose, don't go for the cheap one.
Vinyl planks or sheet vinyl. Can take a beating and is easy to clean.
I love my luxury vinyl plank flooring. Perhaps that can help you.

Tile is always a good choice and even comes in wood plank look-alikes. Vinyl planks are also popular for high moisture areas.
