DIY a Unique Planter With a National Geographic Map

An old map and exterior grade Mod Podge make a pretty and unique planter.
I had both of these in my stash. I figure the exterior grade Mod Podge should be perfect for a planter. LOVE the colors on that Nat Geo map!
Dirty old plant pot...cleaned up and sanded then covered with Mod Podge and the map. All the adjustment "cuts" are on the backside even tho they blend in and hardly show.
Here's the planter pot now...styled up and ready to go. So far the Mod Podge has held up well, shedding water like plastic. I LOVE the way this looks in my kitchen window!
