Growing Zinnias
My sister-in-law initially gave me some zinnia seeds and from five plants I was able to grow (I have terrible luck with seeds), I harvested a ton of seeds the following season. I loved taking pictures so when I asked friends, coworkers, and neighbors if they wanted some seeds, I put them in a nice mason jar with some shred to keep it dry and attached pictures of what they looked like.
I cut the pictures of my flowers with fancy scissors and wrapped it with twine. My husband found the jars in a box by the side of the road near our house.

I planted them in front of my deck which is south facing. I planted them in all sorts of locations in the back yard.
They grew really tall in this location. Next year, I'm going to try and plant them near the chain link fence.
