Morning Tour of the Hydrangea Gardens

I love the morning walks through the gardens the best time to enjoy the beauty. The Hydrangeas are doing so well this year, their bushes are loaded. Today in this gardening post I share their beauty.
Hydrangeas are one of my very favorite flowers. Where can you have one bush that is so loaded with such a variety of colors? They are high performers with little to no care.
I wish you could see the beauty around here with these flowers, the Hummingbirds feeding on nectar, nearby is an Eastern Bluebird nesting, Chimney Sweeps are nesting, and some Mockingbirds are nesting in the white rose garden.

Look at these loaded bushes here. They aren't as large as in the past because two years ago I cut them back severely. They are making a comeback and I'm glad.

I have never cut a Hydrangea bush back so much but they were having some problems and I almost lost them with that hot dry summer. Of course last year we had record setting flooding so maybe that helped these. It did a number on a few of my trees that sat in water for over two months, but that is another story.
Isn't this a gorgeous bloom? I think so. Hydrangeas have a way of looking fake they are shaped so perfectly.
Look at this beauty. The colors and detail in this bloom is wonderful!

Do you own Hydrangeas? They love the sandy soil we have here, they and the roses and I'm pretty happy about that.
