African Violets.......?

Can anyone tell me if it is natural for an African Violet to spread apart? I have included photo to let you see what mine is doing and where I have it planted. I have never worked with African Violets but this one seems to be doing good considering. By the way this is supposed to me a Mini African Violet, thats why it's in the fairy garden. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by 'spread apart' but the leaves do grow out flat like that. Your African violet looks very happy. Just make sure you don't water directly on the plant as they don't like their crown to be wet. Give them bright, indirect light. BTW, your fairy garden is super cute!

Yes! There are trailing types! I think I have one just like yours! Fabulous! Check out a website caalled the 'violet barn'.com,(where I bought mine) you'll find help there and b amazed at all the different varieties they keep! Have fun!

This little mini violet is beautiful!! She is one happy little plant and growing nicely as she should!

I just bought two more on is pink in color and has glittery like petals.....never saw one like this before....lol

It looks fine to me:-) However, African violets should be watered from the bottom. Be careful not to get water on the plant when watering.
