How do i get rid of the bees attracted to my pergola?
We have a large holly tree in our back yard very near our deck. Every spring this tree attracts wood boring bees.
Any suggestions how to ward off the hole drilling pests? Can't remove the tree till the bee cycle is done......a bit perilous for the tree removal crew.
Yes
Yes, but bees do prefer certain colors--- they love blue, purple and yellow flowers, so avoid these. Bees can't see the color red (it looks like black to them, so they don't recognize these colors as flowers), so I would buy red mums to be safe.
Not really. Mums don't attract bees to your garden because of their low pollen levels.
Bees are attracted to blooms of any kind, yes. Mums provide nourishment for them in the fall. That is important.
Yes they are. It's their favorite fall flower.
